Your Responsibilities as a Lawncare and Landscaping Technician

· Front-Line Employee -

o You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.

o The team looks to you to perform tasks related to landscaping maintenance and projects at high levels of quality and service delivery. This may include other lawn care duties when not focused on Landscaping work.

o You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-70 pounds often

o You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

o Perform lawncare maintenance duties, such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning

o Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, tillers, skid steers, and mini excavators

o Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch/rock application, plantings, topsoil application, lawn seeding, laying brick edging, building retaining walls, patio installation, and sod installation

o Install holiday lighting, landscape lighting, and snow removal

How We Measure Success

· Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your

Supervisory team.

· Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.

· Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.

· Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.

· Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all of the above possible.

Job Requirements for Lawncare and Landscaping Technician

* Current and unrestricted Driver's license with a clean record

* Experience in this or a related field is preferred

Benefits & Pay

* The pay range for this position is $18 to $21 and is dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional.
