Your Responsibilities as a Lawn Treatments Technician

· Mix and apply fertilizers, herbicides and other lawn care products according to label requirements and company procedures.

· You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often

· Properly calibrate, operate, clean, and maintain lawn treatment equipment.

· Maintain accurate records of products applied, application rates, locations, weather conditions, and other required information.

· Maintain required pesticide/applicator certifications and continuing education.

· Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the storage, handling, transportation, and application of lawn care products.

· Communicate professionally with customers regarding lawn conditions, treatments performed, and recommended services.

· Identify potential property or turf concerns and communicate them to management.


Your Responsibilities as a Snowplow Driver

· Operate trucks, plows, spreaders, snow blowers and other snow removal equipment safely and efficiently.

· Perform snow plowing, salting, de-icing, and snow removal at commercial and/or residential properties.

· Monitor weather conditions and respond to snow events as needed, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

· Inspect equipment before and after use and report mechanical problems or maintenance needs.

· Properly load and apply salt, de-icing materials, and other winter products.

· Exercise caution around buildings, curbs, landscaping, vehicles, pedestrians, and other property, and report any property damage or unusual conditions immediately.


Other Responsibilities

· Lawn and landscape maintenance, including mowing, weeding and shrub pruning.

· Landscape and hardscape installation.

· Irrigation repair and maintenance.

· Holiday lights installation.

· Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your Supervisory team.

· Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.

· Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.

· Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.


Job Requirements

· Prior experience in turf care.

· If you are not already licensed, you must be willing to complete training to get all required certifications and licenses.

· Valid driver's license and clean driving history with experience driving a trailer.

· Fluency in English is a necessity to discuss needs or concerns while in the field.

· Ability to work independently, as most jobs would be performed alone.

· Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in heat, cold, rain, snow and other weather conditions.

· Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

· Ability to repeatedly enter and exit vehicles and operate equipment.

· Ability to work extended and irregular hours during snow and severe weather events.

· Must be available for on-call or emergency snow removal operations during winter weather events.


Safety and Professional Standards

· Follow all OSHA, DOT, pesticide safety, and company safety requirements applicable to the position.

· Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Handle and transport chemicals and de-icing materials safely.

· Protect customer property and immediately report accidents, damage, spills, or safety concerns.


Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00 and is dependent on your certifications and previous experience as a lawn treatments technician and snowplow driver. We also offer a stay bonus program, which includes a performance-based pay increase of up to $3.00 per hour.
