 Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Team Lead

YOU ARE the Front-Line Employee! You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care. The team performs basic tasks related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality

and service delivery.

• Mowing & trimming and occasionally weed control, including additional periodic help assisting with seasonal aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning.
• Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers and line trimmers.
• Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Operations Manager as appropriate.
• Assists Operations Manager with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available.
• Performs other L&L duties as required.

• Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
• Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all the above possible.

 Job Requirements for Maintenance Team Lead

• High school diploma/GED (or current student status)
• Zero tolerance for any drug or substance use as a Team Lead.
• A minimum of one year’s experience in lawn care or a related field is mandatory.
• A Valid Driver's License with clean driving record is necessary.
• Willingness to work in the dirt, mow in the heat and enjoy having fun in the process.
• This is a fast pace job, you must be be fast on your feet, move quickly and lift up to 35-80 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature i.e. MUST be able to work in a multitude of environments from cool fall & winter months to very hot & humid summer months.

 Benefits & Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $18.00 per hour and is dependent on your experience in lawncare or landscaping. Frequent reviews and performance evaluations will dictate pay increases.
