Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Team Member

· Front-Line Employee -

o You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.

o The team looks to you to perform basic tasks related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality and service delivery. This will include lawn care duties.

o You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often

o You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.


How We Measure Success

· Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your

Supervisory team.

· Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.

· Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.

· Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.

· Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all of the above possible.


Job Requirements for Maintenance Team Member

· Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.

In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.


Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $23.00 and is dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional.

Lawn Maintenance Team Member Supervisor Expectations

The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day service delivery on all assigned Grounds

Guys service contracts. In order to meet these responsibilities, the Team Leader must maintain

a clean driving record, be provided with an appropriate number of properly trained and

competent Team Members, have the authority to direct these Team Members as needed, be

able and willing to operate the proper tools, equipment, vehicles and supplies to perform the

work.

Direct Report: General Manager (or alternatively, the Operations Manager)

Business Development Responsibilities

? Marketing of Grounds Guys services to existing and potential customers in the Market

Area.

? Identifying additional service opportunities on existing customer contracts for evaluation

and customer follow-up by the General Manager.

Operational Responsibilities

? Ensuring all customer service contracts are properly staffed, equipped, supplied and

executed on a timely basis.

? Ensuring all tools, equipment, vehicles and supplies are properly utilized, maintained

and stored.

? Proactively assisting the General Manager in identifying and resolving all customer

service issues or concerns on a timely and proactive basis.

? May be requested to assist in other locations outside their Market Area to provide

supervision of additional personnel when needed as well as ensuring all safety rules are

adhered to.

? Ensure availability and to schedule appropriately Team members for peak periods to

work longer shifts particularly during the winter months

Management Responsibilities

? Assisting the General Manager in conducting performance evaluations and

performance-related discussions.

? Monitoring the workplace and neutralizing any potential hazards that exist for Team

members during the performance of their duties.

? Assign work to Team members appropriate to their respective skill levels. Ensure such

assignments include any special instructions as indicates in the Route Sheets.

? Providing on-the-job coaching and counseling to Team members so that they have every

opportunity to safely and efficiently perform their job duties and maximize Grounds Guys

customer satisfaction.

? Ensuring the efficient and effective execution of customer services by Team members.

? Final inspection and sign-off of each property before leaving the site each day. (fill out

the check list)

? May be required to attend seminars, trade shows, or other training sessions from time to

time.

? Manage Team members at the end of each shift and ensure all procedures are followed

for the 5Ss procedure.

Administrative Responsibilities:

? Use and maintenance of all telecommunications systems and devices provided.

? Maintaining a neat, secure, well-maintained and adequately supplied shop facility.

? Diligently perform all reporting functions on a routine and timely basis.

Provide any and all assistance, advice and cooperation to the General Manager, other Team

Leaders or Team members as may be reasonably required or requested from time to time.
