Here at Grounds Guys, we’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative whose primary role is to meet with customers, create estimates, close work, and become an integral part of growing the business.

Your Responsibilities as a Sales Representative
Sales & Estimating
- Conduct onsite property assessments for landscaping, lawn care, pruning, hardscape, drainage, lighting, and seasonal services.
- Listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare clear, detailed, and accurate estimates and proposals.
- Present estimates professionally and confidently.
- Follow up consistently with prospects to convert leads into signed jobs.
- Close new business and meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Upsell enhancements and additional services when appropriate.
- Build long-term relationships with residential and commercial customers.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Sales Administration & Communication
- Track leads, estimates, follow-ups, and closed sales in the company CRM.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure smooth job handoffs.
- Maintain accurate notes, photos, and documentation for each project.
- Report sales activity, closing ratios, and revenue performance to management.

Job Requirements for Sales Representative
- Strong sales mindset with high personal accountability.
- Proven experience in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles.
- Landscaping, lawn care, construction, or home services experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform onsite estimates confidently and professionally.
- Working knowledge of landscaping services, materials, and terminology.
- Willingness to learn company systems, pricing, and processes.
- Clean driving history and valid driver’s license.
